Pakistani Student Champions International Maths Competition in Australia

SARGODHA: A Pakistani student Abu Hifs has won gold medal by securing first position in international Mathematics competition held under University of South Wales Australia.

Abu Hifs, a resident of Kot Momin, is the student of seventh class in Bhabra Higher Secondary Government School, Tehsil Kot Momin.

He has outshined all the students of 16 countries who participated in the competition.

Abu Hifs secured 4405 points and got first place while another Pakistani Student Hasnain got the second position in International competition with 4303 points in 11-13 years age category.

In 14-18 years age category, another student of Pakistan named Osama secured the second position with 3318 points.

About 1.57 million students took part in this International Mathematics competition from all over the world.

Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the students for winning the gold medal.
