The FC spokesperson confirmed that nine suspected terrorists were arrested from Turbat’s Tump area while the other two from Gwadar.

Earlier, FC raided a hideout of banned outfits in Bolan District’s Bhaag area where they claimed to have seized a huge chache of arms and ammunition.

“The raid was conducted on a tip-off,” an FC spokesperson stated.

Further adding that “The hideout was being used by the terrorists of Banned Baloch Republican Army and Baloch Liberation Army to carry out subversive activities in Sibi, Kohlu and Dera Bugti districts.”

Furthermore, FC on June 18 arrested two suspects reportedly involved in MQM leader Imran Farooq’s murder from the Pakistan, Afghanistan border town of Chaman.

“The men identified as Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali were arrested on a tip-off,” a FC spokesperson said, adding that the men belong to a political party based in Karachi.

A source, however, said the men were arrested for involvement in Dr Imran Farooq’s murder.
