FC personnel conducted a raid in Bonistan area after receiving information about the presence of militants there, official sources said. However, armed men opened fire on the FC personnel, leading to the shootout in which heavy weapons were used.
“The FC conducted the raid on information received from people arrested earlier,” an FC spokesman said.
During the clash, the militants escaped leaving behind arms and ammunition, including three SMGs, two Kalashnikovs, two magazines of submachine-guns, four 30-bore pistols, two shotguns, 250 magazines of pistols and one sniper rifle.
