Terror Bid Foiled with FC Recovering Huge Cache of Explosives

QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan recovered a huge cache of explosives and ammunition from Spochana area near Pak-Afghan border on Wednesday.

According to FC spokesman, acting on a tip-off, the FC personnel conducted raid in Spochana area and recovered huge cache of explosives that included 45 Improvised Explosive Devices and 10000 kg ammunition.

The FC spokesman added that amid intense situations where the region is under continuous insurgency, they have foiled a terrorist bid by recovering huge cache of explosives and ammunition.

Terrorist attacks in the province have increased with the advent of the new year with a number of bomb blasts occured.

Recently last saturday, the security personnel convoy comprising a truck and two vehicles on a routine patrol on the Adalat Road of Quetta city was targetted by a bicycle rider that killed ten people.
