QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri directed authorities concerned to timely complete the inquiry into the 17 year old student's suicide incident at Muslim Bagh.
According to a handout issued on Tuesday, he directed the Education Department to timely complete the inquiry while taking information from Secretary Education in this regard.
Saqiba Hakeem, a female student of Faculty of Science (FSc), committed suicide when allegedly the college administration in Muslim Bagh refused to send her examination forms to the Board of Intermediate. The 17 years old committed suicide last Friday by taking poisonous medicine.
It took three days for the police to file a complaint against the alleged perpetrators, only for the CM Balochistan to intervene. He vowed to provide justice to the bereaved family of the deceased student while notification of the formation of the inquiry committee was only issued on Monday.
Meanwhile, the principal and the clerk of the college was suspended on the instruction of CM Balochistan.
The family held the College Principal responsible for her suicide as she did not receive the entry slip for the examination which broke her heart leading to the incident.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saqiba Hakeem had taken first position in district Qillah Saifullah in the matric examination.
