Another SPY Arrested off Chaman Border, Bombs Explosives Recovered
CHAMAN: The Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel on Wednesday arrested an Afghan intelligence agent in Chaman town, near the Pak-Afghan border.
A Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman said personnel conducted a raid on a compound in Boghra, a residential and commercial area in Chaman, and picked up an agent working for the NDS.
As per details, FC conducted the search operation in a compound in the outskirts of the city where they recovered 21 kilograms of explosives and bomb manufacturing instruments.
The spokesman said the 'spy' was supplying weapons and explosive materials for terrorist activities inside Balochistan.
Intelligence agencies has been shifted to an undisclosed location to interrogate the agent, he added.
The arrest comes just weeks after forces arrested Kulbushan Jadhav, an Indian agent from Balochistan, who Pakistan said was involved in "terror activities" in the province.
Law enforcement agencies announced the arrest of Jadhav during an intelligence-based raid in Balochistan's Chaman last month.
