ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafeezur Rehman visited the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Friday to discuss higher education opportunities for the region.

HEC Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed briefed the chief minister about various initiatives for the development of higher education in the region, including offering a number of different scholarship and research and development opportunities for faculty members, researchers and students, particularly those who cannot afford higher education on their own expense.
