Rs3 bn Worth Corruption Uprooted from G-B - CM

GILGIT: Chief Minster (CM) Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman said that their governance and transperance evaded an attempt of Rs 3 bn worth of corruption in the province.

While meeting a delegation of Chilas, CM said that we will ensure electricity in Daryl, Tangir and Thak and fulfill the promises made. We will complete the promised projects and engage Army Engineering Corp to complete the inland roads esp. the one's previously neglected by the governments.

He praised the Federal Government and said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will bring in a new infrastructure for the people of Gilgit Baltistan.

He warned that none would be spared should anyone try and challenge the writ of the Government, for none is above the law.

He said it is due to the Government's efforts that transparence was made possible in buying the lands for Diamer-Bhasha dam, evading a possible attempt of corruption for Rs 3bn. 

The CM and the delegation from Chilas praised the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Daimer Usman Ahmed and Revenue Staff in the region.
