ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that the privatisation of K-Electric would not be reversed and that the focus should lie on electricity generation in Karachi, sources revealed to media.

The prime minister is said to have made the remarks during the 16th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Energy at the premier’s residence.

“K-Electric is a privatised project and the government is in no mood to reverse it,” a participant of the meeting said.
