Afghan Taliban Leader was Treated in Imran Khan's Hospital
ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, during an interview, said that a senior Afghan Taliban leader was recently treated at his facility - Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) in Lahore.
Talking to senior anchorperson Hamid Mir in his programme ‘Capital Talk’, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and SKMCH founder Imran Khan said that the hospital was so successful that even a senior leader of the Afghan Taliban militant movement went through treatment there.
Imran said that he got to know that the senior Afgan Taliban leader was treated at the hospital only when the Talibans later wrote an appreciation letter, thanking him for the leader’s treatment and for SKMCH's establishment.
He said that many people from Afghanistan come to the SKMCH in Lahore for medical treatment.
Speaking about the successes of the year 2015, Khan said the inauguration of the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Peshawar was one of his biggest achievements in the outgoing year.
