Saudi Defence Minister To Visit Islamabad Tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Crown Prince and Minister for Defence of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Salman will visit Pakistan on Sunday, official sources said.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif will receive him upon his arrival at Nur Khan Base.

Sources said the Saudi Defence minister will hold meetings with key personalities in Pakistan. 

The Saudi-led 34-nation coalition against terrorism is likely to come under discussion as well as the prevailing situation in the Middle East with tensions between the arch rivals; Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Pakistan though have joined the coalition but is yet to declare its stance and position in the alliance. Pakistan has ties with both Saudia and Iran, in the light of the current scenario, it is yet to be determined which side is Pakistan taking in the advent.
