Ishaq Dar Ties with World Bank President Brings him to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: World Bank President Dr Jim Yong Kim will have a special interaction with Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and other leading economists.
The WB chief is arriving in Pakistan on the 9th of next month on a two-day visit, Secretary Economic Affairs Division Tariq Bajwa informed during a meeting in Islamabad.
The visiting dignitary will have a special interaction with the finance minister and economists and discuss measures to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan.
A meeting today was chaired by PM at PM House today. The meeting focused on overall security and economic situation in the country.
Apart from security measures the meeting was also given a detailed review of Pak-World Bank economic cooperation.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Minister, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid, Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Tariq Fatemi and others attended the meeting.
