ISLAMABAD: Though that a recent relief was given to the passengers flying Pakistan International Airline (PIA), it has just reached us that Hajj expenditures are likely to increase by twenty to twenty two thousand rupees against previous fare since the government is considering a proposal to increase Hajj expenses in 2016.

Pakistan International Airline, amid crisis and demonstration against its privatization, slashed their fares by 50 percent. The news is suppose to bring back the lost revenue and passengers to the national carrier.

Lest! The government has a different agenda and not catering to the carriers' interest.

According to details, the proposal to fix Hajj expenses to Rs. 2,87,000 for northern areas of the country, while Rs. 2,75,000 for southern areas.

Despite the decrease in oil prices, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is not considering any proposal to decrease its fares.
