High Level Security Meeting Called-in, Following Shabqadar Attack

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Tuesday chaired a top level meeting to review the overall security situation of country.

According to a statement, the participants of the meeting strongly condemned coward act of terrorism in Shabqadar which killed civilians and Law Enforcement Agency personnel on Monday.


Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting at PM House earliertoday. The meeting was attended by Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Interior, Mr Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Finance, General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, Mr Tariq Fatemi SAPM on Foreign Affairs, Lt Gen (R) Nasser Khan Janjua, National Security Advisor, Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar, DG ISI, Mr Aizaz Ahmed Ch Foreign Secretary and other senior officials of the government

The meeting agreed that elimination of terrorism from our soil is a national resolve and paid tributes to the personnel of Law Enforcement and Security Agencies who embraced Martyrdoom while fighting this menace of terrorism.
