Indian Police Detained 35 Pakistani's over Visa Violation

RAJASTHAN: As many as 35 Pakistani citizens were held by Indian police in Ramdevra, Jaisalmer on Saturday as they had visa only for Mathura and Haridwar, Indian media reported.

The Pakistani nationals, who entered India through the Thar Desert via Munabav, were detained in Ramdevra District of Rajasthan.

The Indian authorities claimed that they have visa for Mathura and Haridwar but not for Ramdevra. The detained men were planning to visit the Baba Ramdev Temple where the Samadhi of Baba Ramdev stands.

It is reported that these people belong to Amarkot, Mirpur Khas and Tharparkar of Sindh province in Pakistan.
