Mumtaz Chehlum Turns Wild with Islamabad's Red Zone Threatened - Army Called for Help
ISLAMABAD: The government requisitioned Pakistan Army troops on Sunday to control the situation in Red Zone of the federal capital.
The situation when hay-wire when thousands of stone-throwing supporters of Mumtaz Qadri marched towards the Parliament building. Qadri's supporters clashed with police to mark his chehlum on Sunday.
According to DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa, Army has been requisitioned to secure the sensitive installations in Islamabad.

According to reports, thousands of devotees came together from all over Pakistan.
Reportedly uprising police carrying batons and shields fired tear gas to try to stop them pushing closer to the Islamabad centre.
According to media reports, Faizabad interchange was blocked.
Authorities have placed containers on the road to block the procession and strict action is expected on the procession that attempted to enter the capital by force.
