Malaysian Chief of Defence Forces met COAS in Pakistan

Chief of Defence Forces Malaysia, on a official visit to Pakistan, met with General Raheel Sharif and General Rashad Mahmood on Monday separately discussing security situation and future relationship between the two countries.  

General Tan Sri Dato Sri Haji Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Malaysia was greeted with a guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of tri-services, later to meet the two generals in separate quarters.

The dignitaries met with the interest discussing security situation and professional interest with an emphasis on mutual cooperation between the two Armed Forces. It was also reiterated that the already existing collaboration will be further enhanced. General Tan Sri Dato appreciated the sacrifices rendered by Armed Forces of Pakistan in eliminating the menace of terrorism. He also praised the commitment and resolve displayed by the people of Pakistan despite multiple challenges.
