Hacking, Game On - Senates Website Restored after being Hacked
ISLAMABAD: Tunis Hackers brought down Pakistan's Government Senate Website disabling it late Monday night.
The website (www.senate.gov.pk) came under the attack of hackers on Monday night and initial reports said that the IP address could be traced to a foreign country. The website has now been restored and can be accessed.
Media reports suggested the hackers reportedly uploaded the blemish content against the Middle East to spark fire between the Arab countries and Pakistan for their decision to not participate in the Yemen war.
In another event, hackers targeted the web host used by the Hobart International Airport in the southern state of Tasmania, Australia on Sunday.
Last week, Hackers claiming allegiance to the ISIL seized control of France's international TV network, TV5Monde, knocking out its 11 channels, website and social media accounts in an attack which the French government denounced as an “act of terrorism.”
