Banishment Order for Foreign Students off Seminaries in Punjab: CM
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif vowed to deport four hundred foreign students illegally studying in the seminaries across Punjab.
While talking to the newsmen Chief Minister said that the students have been identified and a list has been sent to the federal government for immediate action.
Addressing a press conference at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Model Town Secretariat along with Punjab Cabinet ministers and top government officials, the chief minister said that government has been using all sort of the possible ways to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the province.
“It’s essential to end terrorism at this time.He pointed out, “Afghan immigrants staying in Pakistan illegally will also be deported.”
He elaboated that 1,000 biometric machines interlinked with the NADRA database have reached Pakistan to help out the unveiled nationality of the illegal immigrants. He said that operation against the terrorists and their supporters have been continuing and hundreds of terrorists and their facilitators have so far been arrested.
Chief Minister has brought about Counter-Terrorism Force assisted by Quick Response Force and a Rapid Response Force which stands well equipped with bulletproof jackets and helicopters to counter terrorism.
