PML-N PTI Clash Killed PTI Worker with Four Injured, FIR Registered
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers clashed in Lahore on Sunday night resulting in the death of a PTI worker while four others to include one PML-N worker injured.
PTI Leader Shafqat Mahmood termed the clash one of the worst examples of hooliganism, warning that if the Police did not take immediate action the situation may get out of control. He added that future plan of action will be decided in the morning.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and summoned a report from CCPO Lahore.
Meanwhile, according to CCPO Lahore three teams have been constituted for the arrest of those involved and raids are being conducted adding that those responsible will be arrested soon.
The First Information Report (FIR) of the PTI workers death was registered late in the night. The FIR includes murder, attempted murder and terrorism clauses.
