PAF Drone Crashes Near Chiniot

CHINIOT: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) unmanned aircraft crashed late Thursday night at Pirwala road near Chiniot.

According to a spokesman for PAF, the drone plane crashed in a field on Thursday night where it engulfed fire. No loss to property or life was reported in the accident.

The drone reportedly had been taken off from Sargodha.

DPO Abdul Qadir Qamar said the area was cordoned off as officers of the PAF base, Sargodha, contacted police.

Residents repoted the explosion to which rescue workers responded. The wreckage of drone plane was handed over to PAF while the reason behind crash is still being investigated.
