Security Analysts Leaves for India Ahead Pakistani Cricket Team
LAHORE: A security team Monday left for India to review security arrangements for Pakistan Cricket team ahead of World T20.
The team included Director FIA, PCB member and an official of Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi.
The team will meet the Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh and Police Chief of Dharam Shala and submit its report to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and the PCB officials.
In an unprecedented event, Hindu hardline group Anti-Terrorist Front had threatened to dig up the pitch in HPCA stadium should Pakistan team comes to play in Dharmashala, India. Prior that there were other threats involved as well from varied groups.
Pakistan is set to participate in the World T20 event held in India starting Tuesday 08 March, 2016.
