Lakhvi, Mumbai Attack's MasterMind - A freeman
RAWALPINDI: Following Lahore High Court (LHC) verdit to release Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, the alleged mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, is released from Adiala jail Friday afternoon, Media reported.
Malik Nasir Abbas, Lakhvi's lawyer told Reuters, “Lakhvi has been released and he is out of the jail now to go anywhere.”
Lahkvi was detained with prosecutions basing on 'secret information' which suggested he stands tedious to bring arachy in the country. The court asked prosecution to reveal their sources or of any other evidence substantiating their allegation, to which they failed, resulting in LHC giving out his relase order.
It was last year in December that Golra police filed a case against Lakhvi, alleging him of Anwar Khan, resident of Islamabad's kidnapping in the year 2009.
