Funeral prayers offered for seven policemen martyred in Lahore blast

LAHORE – The funeral prayers of seven police officers martyred in Lahore suicide blast was offered on Tuesday in Elite police training centre on Bedian road.

Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif, provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah and other higher officials attended the funeral prayers of the seven policemen.
Special prayers were held for the highest rank of martyrs and patience for their families.
DIG Traffic Capt (r) Ahmed Mobin was laid to rest in Cavalry Ground graveyard whereas SSP Operations Zahid Gondal’s (acting DIG operations) body was sent to his native village in Mandi Bahauddin through a helicopter.
Gondal’s funeral prayers was also offered in his village and was attended by a huge number of people including police officers, relatives and locals.
