Eight-Year Boy Shoved in Fire

Sheikhupura: Two suspects were arrested when owner of a wheat field in Sheikhupura pushed an eight-year-old child in a fire suspecting the boy to have set his field ablaze on Saturday, media reported.

The eight-year-old has been shifted to a hospital in Lahore. As per initial reports, the child is in critical condition.

Sources said four children were playing in the field with a lighter. The owner of the wheat field, named Qayyum, suspecting that one of them set his crop on fire, pushed the child in the blaze in anger.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered the child should be given the best treatment.
