Rangers Arrest Fisheries Vice Chairman with 90-day Remand
KARACHI: Rangers conducted a raid in Gulistan-e-Johar area late night and arrested the vice chairman of Fisheries Harbor for interrogation whom the court has given to the Rangers for 90-days remand.
Meanwhile, police arrested many suspects from various areas of the city here.
Rangers conducted the raid at the house of the vice chairman of Fisheries Sultan Qamar Siddiqui in Block 12 of Gulistan-e-Johar and took him into custody. The Rangers also took into possession important documents during the raid and took Siddiqui into custody after initial interrogation. Later the court order a 90-day remand over the vice-chairman.
Earlier an alleged target killer was arrested from New Karachi area of the city. According to ISP Gulberg Faisal Noor the arrested accused is affiliated with Sunni Tehreek and arms cache was recovered from his possession.
Also late last night the law enforcement agencies arrested two suspects in injured condition during two separate actions in Korangi and Malir. Arrested suspects Haroon alias commando and Mahmood alias Sanatta were involved in murder and other heinous cases and they are affiliated to a political party.
