Multiple cases of Homicide around Karachi
Karachi: MQM worker went missing since April 2014, found dead here in the remits of Rizvia police station.
Police found the body near from the Lasbaila Bridge and shifted to morgue for identification where Zia-ur-Rehman brother identified him.
According to the details, at least six workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have been allegedly picked up by ranger from Country Tower Apartments, Gulshan-e-Maymar on April 13, 2014. The bodies of four including as Sameed, Ali Haider, Faizan and Salman Qureshi were later found in Memon Goth police jurisdiction on May 1, 2014 while two including Suhaib and Zia-ur-Rehman remain missing tillday. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) proclaims that they all were party’s workers arrested by Rangers and brutally tortured to death.
It is worth mentioning here that personnel in plain cloth conducted a raid in double cabin to which the apartment security guard offered resistance resulting ni exchange of fire. Another Ranger contingent came to the rescue and picked over a dozen suspects.
MQM in a press conference have had elaborated that later most of the men were later released but six to remain in the custody of ranger.
Family sources revealed that Zia's body was only identified by his brother and not his wife at Eidhi Morgue. The body had deteriorated because of the month’s long detention and brutal torture.
Man shot dead near Lyari Degree College
Meanwhile, another incident's been reported near Lyari Degree College within the remits of Kalakot police station with a man shot dead another wounded. Police said armed men on a motorbike sprayed bullets and managed to escape resulting in a man killed on the spot while a passerby namely Rafiq wounded.
Police rushed on the spot and shifted the victims to Civil Hospital where doctors pronounced the death of a man while admitting the wounded. Police suspect that Lyari gangsters were behind the incident while body of deceased shifted to morgue for identification.
Butchered Body found
Nipper police found a slaughtered body from a house located at Timber market area.
Police said that deceased Irfan Khan 34, was residing in the house with his brother Sulaman but at the time of incident Irfan was alone at his house. In a statement to the police, Sulaman told police that upon reaching home, he found his brother body lying in a pool of blood to which he called the police.
Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for autopsy while the cause of murder has yet to be ascertained.
In another incident, man stoned to death here in the remits of Korangi Industrial area. Police said that 70 years old Faiz Gull and his neighbor Nisar had an altercation in Nisar hitting Gull with a stone, resulted in Gull's immediate death.
Police rushed to the spot and shifted Gull to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead and handed over the body to family after autopsy while the culprit was later arrested.
