KARACHI-Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Khyber Pukhtunkhwa KPK Chief Prof Muhammad Ibrahim has claimed that the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami can only restore peace of Karachi, adding that those who claimed themselves well-wishers of Karachiites gave them the gifts of gunny-bag packed bodies and lawlessness.
He expressed these views while addressing the “Karachi Jirga” at Metroville SITE area. JI leaders including Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Abdul Razzaq Khan, Younus Barai, Abdur Rasheed, former JI MPA Hameedullah Khan Advocate and others also spoke on the occasion.

He further said that the JI will initiate protest demonstrations, if the unjustified act would not be stopped with the people of Orangi and SITE. “We will not spare the Pukhtun community and tribesmen alone and stand with them in their crucial time”, he added.
He further said that if the LEAs have any information regarding anyone, then they should present him before court instead of carrying out extra judicial killing.
