ATC Issues Fresh Arrest Warrants for Dr Asim's Abettors
KARACHI: The anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday was informed that none of the co-accused in Dr Asim Hussain case could be arrested due number of reasons, police officials said.
On the hearing Dr Asim Hussain was produced in the court amid high security.
According to police they were taking measurements to arrested all suspects in the case however few of them including MQM’s Abdul Rauf Siddiqui were on pre-arrest bail.
At which the ATC once issued fresh arrest warrants against Abdul Qadir Patel, Anis Qaimkhani, Abdul Rauf Siddiqui and Waseem Akhter.
The court adjourned the hearing till January 19.
Senior PPP leader Dr Asim Hussain has been accused of sheltering and treating terrorists in his hospital. An FIR was registered against him along with four others on the request of Sindh Rangers.
