Beef Bandits Strike Again: 5th Incident Recorded in Karachi
KARACHI: Sindh Police remains helpless while a new gang of robbers continues to strike again and again. Their targets are butcher shops, and their loot is cash and beef.
Local TV aired footage of the fifth such incident in Karachi, however this time around the robbers only took away cash and left the prime cuts behind.
CCTV footage of earlier incidents clearly showed two gun toting men, one wearing a motorcycle helmet and the other trying to conceal his identity under a cap. After depriving the butcher of his cash they proceed to select the best cuts of meat from the cold storage worth thousands of rupees, and leave with the cash and prepared cuts.
The latest incident was the second such robbery at a butcher shop in Soldier Bazar, Saddar. Earlier heists took place in Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13D and Gulistan-e-Johar.
