Grenade Attack on Police Station and Residence of a HC Judge

KARACHI: Unknown miscreants hurled grenades at a police station and the residence of a high court judge, early morning on Wednesday and fled.

At least two men on a motorbike hurled a grenade at the Mominabad Police Station and fled, police said. No casualties were reported, however the boundary wall of the police station was partially damaged.

In a separate incident a grenade was hurled at the DHA Phase 5 residence of Justice Nazir Akbar, a Sindh High Court Judge. However, the grenade did not blow up.

Police arrested three alleged criminals during a search operation at the Preedy area.

A child who was kidnapped from Sharafi Goth was recovered when police raided a hideout and arrested four alleged kidnappers at Quaidabad.
