Grenade Attack on Rangers Karachi Check Post | Fourth Attack in Four Days

KARACHI: Rangers check-post came under armed men attack in Korangi area this noon, however no loss of life was reported.

According to police, two men riding a motorbike lobbed a hand grenade at Rangers checkpost and fled.

No loss of life was reported, but the checkpost was partially damaged in the attack. Sources told that Rangers had begun probe into the ambush.

A week ago, two Rangers check-posts were attacked in wee hours of Sunday – one at Gulshan Chowrangi and the other at Essa Nagri. The culprits of the attack could not be caught as yet.

In another event last week Friday, two Rangers personnel were injured when unknown attackers hurled a hand grenade at their check-post near Korangi Crossing area in Karachi.
