PTI's Office Vandalized Turned out to be a Hoax - K21 Alleged
Karachi: In a recent video aired by a local news channel (K-21) showed last nights event of PTI's Office vandalized in Karachi by party activists to be a complete hoax and fabrication.
Last night it was reported that unknown men attacked an office of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at Power House, North Karachi. The victims added the statement, "Our meeting was about to begin when some baton-wielding people came and beat up our workers,” Subhan Sahil, a local leader of the PTI. He added that two workers were wounded in the attack while another missing.
The said was strongly condemned by PTI leadership following a statement by Imran Ismail, a senior PTI leader in Karachi, asking upon law enforcement agencies to take action against the culprits.
Nonetheless, the video aired by Local News Channel (K-21) elaborately showed another News Channel (Samaa TV) fabricating evidence at the scene, ensuring that area to portray crime committed. It was reported by the channel that in that particular instance since there was absence of news whereby it was created.
The videos' later part, is alleged, to be fake, with former part aired by K-21 revealing actual evidence of fiction created by the other Channel.
The TV Channel (K-21) alleged its comtemporary (Samaa TV) to be involved in unethical Journalism with baseless norms and values. It further stated that the said actually is working on an agenda by brain-feeding foreign views rather than providing viewers with information.
