Pakistan today (Friday) will play troubled Australia in the 26th match of World T20 2016 at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali.

The match will start at 3:00pm (Indian Standard Time) and 2:30pm (Pakistan Standard Time).

This happens to be the last match for Pakistan and losing it will make it curtains for them. They require a win with a good run rate margin to qualify for the semi-finals.

Current points table reflect that should Australia lose to Pakistan and win over India; Pakistan can qualify for Semis.

New Zealand 3 0 +1.283 3 6
India 2 1 -0.546 3 4
Pakistan 1 2 +0.254 3 2
Australia 1 1 +0.108 2 2
Bangladesh 0 3 -1.165 3 0

Australia had done a similar favour to Pakistan in 1992 World Cup when they were out of the tournament but defeated West Indies, nonetheless. Should West Indies have won the game, Pakistan would have been ousted the World Cup 1992 lest win it.
